Ten service members from the Air National Guard (ANG), 242nd Combat Communications (242CBCS) Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, Wash., provide radio and telephone communication via satellite, including mission capable backup to primary data services with the Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC), Terminal 156, 20 Jan. Days prior to the 2017 Presidential Inauguration, the JISCC stood up the support services at the Federal Express (FEDEX) Field (Washington Redskins Stadium), Landover Md. The 242CBCS supported Task Force District of Columbia Department of Transportation (TF DDOT) who directed 4,100 additional Air and Army National Guard members as they provided security during the event (Courtesy Photos).
